Kemon's Environmental Management System Kemon was certified in 2007 in compliance with the requirements of the International ISO 14001:2004 Standard by the Certification Body SGS Italy SpA. This certification demonstrates Kemon's real commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of its processes, products and services and the reliability of the environmental management system applied. Kemon is constantly looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of its processes and keep energy waste and all environmental aspects under control.

Energy from renewable resources

Kemon is commited to using electricity from renewable sources and to promote energy choices that contribute to reducing polluting emissions and preserving the environment. Plus, Kemon has launched a project to meet all its energy needs by using the photovoltaic conversion of sunlight to produce electricity.

100% Recycled Paper

For its offices, Kemon uses Steinbeis recycled, unbleached paper exclusively. Compared to the production of virgin paper, every 500 sheets of recycled paper used saves 83% of water, 72% of electricity and 53% of the CO2 emissions released into the environment.

Having been keen to develop its business activity in an ethical and sustainable way for some time now, Kemon has just published its first sustainability report.

Kemon Open Lab

Not far from our plant, we converted about 20 hectares of land
to organic farming of medicinal and local plants.
This open-air green research lab allows us to test the best
organic ingredients for producing sustainable cosmetics.

Clean Energy

We only use 100% Multiutility clean energy produced by the power plants of the Gruppo Dolomiti Energia in the eastern Alps. In addition, we voluntarily adhere to the Kyoto protocol, offsetting our Co2 emissions with the financing of a hydroelectric power plant in China.
CO2 emissions

Protection of resources

We equipped our plant with a reverse osmosis water purification system, which allows us to reduce waste and avoid the use of unsustainable chemical products. In 2015, we began using energy efficient LED lighting in our production plant, and we have chosen hybrids as our company cars. For its offices, Kemon uses only non-bleached recycled paper: every 500 sheets of recycled paper used saves 83% of water, 72% of electricity and 53% of CO2 released into the atmosphere. For our marketing communication, we are committed to using FSC paper.
